Ministry to Emerald Gardens Nursing Home

On March 12, 2011 we ministered to Emerald Gardens Nursing Home together with fellow Christians from Living Hope Christian Center. We sang songs of praise and then Paster Rodney did ventriloquism with Uncle Isaiah and then gave the message “Walk on Water”. It was well attended and we give all the glory and honor to our Lord and Savior Jesus!
Luncheon at Plates Cafe

We had a wonderful luncheon and meeting at Plates Cafe in Sacramento on March 9, 2011. It was well attended by fellow Christians from Dopheide Ministries, Bayside Citrus Heights, Faith Presbyterian church, and Southpointe Christian Center. The hostesses and waitresses are very cordial and the food was good and with generous portions. We had great fellowship and delicious food and Pastor Rodney spoke to the group. The Cafe was run by St. John’s Shelter for Women and Children and the ladies were trained in the restaurant business so that after training they can find employment. We all enjoyed this gathering very much. Praise the Lord !
Ministry to Southpointe Christian School—-Chapel

Pastor Rodney and Marian ministered to the K-4th grade students at Southpointe Christian School during their Chapel session on Feb. 24, 2011. Pastor Rodney used ventriloquism to convey the importance of prayer and spending quiet time with the Lord. Using vent figure Uncle Isaiah and the Big Bear prayer and daily quiet to read and reflect on Scriptures and prayers were emphasized. The studentes were very attentive and interactive with Pastor Rodney and we felt blessed to have the opportunity to be there again: we were there doing a program for them in Oct. 2010.

CAP get together at IHOP in Sacramento

Christian Adults with a Purpose (CAP) had a great time of fellowship at IHOP in Sacramento on February 19, 2011. The event was well attended by both CAP participants and Southpointe Christian Center participants. We enjoyed delicious food, great fellowship and the presence of the Holy Spirit was felt in the room where we met and ate at. Pastor Rodney spoke to the group on seeking the Lord Jesus and putting Him first in our lives and delight ourselves in the Lord and He will give us the desires of our hearts. Our waiter gave a great testimony on how he was delivered from homosexuality and is reborn and washed in the blood of Jesus! We give Jesus all the glory and honor and praise!
