workshop for Salt and Spice of Living Hope Christian Center

We did a follow up workshop for Salt and Spice, senior ministry of Living Hope Christian Center in Sacramento, CA. It was well attended. We used power point as well as handouts. Pastor Rodney emphasized the importance of this ministry to the mature active adults of our churches and community. He also rendered encouragement and guidance in the area of active senior adults ministry.
Evaluation of the workshop shows very positive results, from a scale of 1 to 10 (one being lowest and ten highest) the average rating by participants was 9.6. Praise the Lord! Some of the comments are: “Excellent presentation with handouts” “...it is motiivating plus puts us back on track” ” This was very encouraging and helpful. Thank you very much” “Great!” “Very interesting and informative” ” There are some spelling mistakes pointed out and suggestions. We do appreciate the evaluation and enjoyed the workshop and the fellowship afterwards.May the Lord Jesus be glorified in all that we do and may He bless Salt and Spice, senior ministry of Living Hope Christian Center. Ministry to Almond Avenue Residence Club

We ministered to Almond Avenue Residence Club in Orangevale, CA. It is an assisted care facility. The program was well atteded and Pastor Rodney used ventriloquism to convey a powerful salvation message, using vent figure Grandpa D. We sang and used audience participation. Praise God for the opportunity to minister to the residents and some of their loved ones who were visiting.
New Year’s Eve Communion and Fellowship

The New Year’s Eve Communion and Fellowship at the Dopheides was a success! We closed the 2008 year with Communion thanking and remembering what the Lord Jesus Christ is to us and what He had blessed us in 2008, and how He was with us through good times and hard times. We sang songs and received the Lord’s Supper. Afterwards, we enjoyed great fellowshp with one another and ate delicous food, including vegetables, fruits, chicken wings, sausages and cake. Wishing everyone a wonderful and blessed New Year in 2009.
Annual CAP Christmas Luncheon at Marie Callendars

Christian Adults with a Purpose (CAP) of Dopheide Ministries,Inc celebrated Christmas at Marie Callendars on Dec. 20, 2008. This annual event was a success! There was a good turnout and the 19 present represented 8 churches and ministries: among us we have members of Assembly of God, Baptist, Presbyterian, Community Churches and Pentacostal churches and ministries. Salt and Spice of Living Hope Christian Center joined with us and we had great food, fellowship and Pastor Rodney delivered the Christmas message. Those in attendance enjoyed the message, and the ventriloquism and Christmas humor and gifts. We want to wish everyone a very blessed CHRISTmas! Jesus is the Reason for the Season!
Annual Christmas program at Emerald Gardens Nursing Center

We have a most wonderful and blessed annual Christmas program at Emerald Gardens Nursing Center in Sacramento. We presented the Christmas message, sung Christmas Carols and gave out 38 packages of Christmas presents to the residents who were in the Activities room. Our choir of 14 represented 8 churches and ministries ministered to the residents at the facility. A cake was also presented to the staff, wishing them a blessed Christmas. It was a moving experience and we are most blessed for the opportunity to give and proclaim the Christmas account. Jesus is the Reason for the Season! Have a blessed Christmas!
